We regret to announce that we have suspended the Teaching Artist Lab Program due to the increasing safety concerns and ever-changing travel restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. This was one of the toughest decisions our team has made as we witness, year after year, how impactful and how transformational these experiences are for all involved. Yet as this global crisis continues, we must look to the health, safety and well-being of the many students, teaching artists and diverse communities we engage with.

We have pledged our ongoing partnership and support to our partners. As we navigate this difficult time together, we are grateful for your support, understanding, and your generous sense of community. This global crisis has only highlighted the importance of music education and cultural exchange, and we believe as strongly as ever in the power and value of this work.

“Being part of this project felt so worthwhile and I have gained a huge amount personally from it. It has changed my attitude towards what being a musician means and what we can achieve through our art, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is curious about taking their skills out of their usual environment and seeing where it can take them and others.”
